About Us

Marc Doyle Treework was established in 1984 by Marc Doyle himself, a self-taught master of the art. Marc operated across the Waikato region, pruning, maintaining, and removing trees to a standard ahead of his time. The business changed hands in 2009 to an ex-employee. The change made way for new ideas, techniques, and technologies, although the business values never changed. To this day, Marc Doyle Treework thrives on providing the best quality tree management service available on the Waikato market whilst creating an unbeatable place of work for its staff.

Our Mission 'Is to be the gold standard in Arboriculture' by ensuring we meet the highest standards in everything we do. Part of this promise includes our ongoing commitment to creating an unrivalled place of work for our staff. We work with each individual because we believe every person in our employment should one day leave, better equipped for work and employment than when they came to us.

Our Values

Our values are the foundation of who we are and what we do every day.

Our promise to you is to provide a place of work that you will be proud to be a part of—a safe, nurturing, and enjoyable place.

The Role

We are seeking experienced climber arborists with the potential to lead teams and less experienced arborists who are keen to develop their skills.

The work will be a mixture of residential tree pruning and removal work at high-end properties around Hamilton and the Waikato and tree work to fulfil our contract with Kainga Ora (formally Housing New Zealand).

We do not undertake line work at Marc Doyle Treework. Our focus is quality over quantity residential and rural tree work.

We deliver the finest quality pruning and tree removal services. Climbed; tree reductions, thins, and removals are our bread and butter, and it's great to work. We will admit, we do enjoy a big gnarly removal now and then too!

Want To Join The Team?

  • So do you want to love coming to work?

  • Do you value capable, reliable gear, new premises with excellent facilities, and great people to work with?

  • Would you like an employer that wants to see you improve personally and who is willing to put in the effort to help you grow?

  • Do you want a workplace where you have plenty of scope to learn and grow, have fun and work on exciting projects?

A place of work that is still growing with the potential for growth or promotion. We are big enough to compete but small enough to care, with management that listens, is understanding, and is flexible.

This could be your opportunity to be part of a business that helps you learn new skills and enable you to grab new opportunities. We have enjoyed consistent growth in the private and commercial arboricultural market for many years. As we continue to grow, we often can't keep up!
